James Holroyd is a highly experienced Hair Stylist with over 18 years in the hair industry. Known for his precision cutting, creative flair, and expertise in fashion colour and all hair textures, James has built a loyal client base thanks to his dedication and skill.

Today, James operates from his own private studio at Dartington Hall Estate, a serene space overlooking the valley and deer park, as well as offering city-centre appointments from Alma Yard in Plymouth. This combination allows clients to choose between the calm, countryside retreat of Dartington or the vibrant energy of the city centre for their appointments.

James is a former L’Oreal ID Artist, GHD educator, Fellowship for British hairdressing and Sassoon Academy graduate.

Over the last 5 years he has worked backstage at London and New York Fashion Weeks for a host of prestigious designers including Simone Rocha, Erdem and Harri.

A finalist in multiple L’Oréal Colour Trophy competitions and holding high level L’Oreal colour qualifications, James’s passion for creating effortless luxury makes him a trusted choice for many clients seeking exceptional haircare.
